Poon’s Tuckshop is my first ever pop-up event since starting Poon’s Supper Club in 2019. It’s happening in collaboration with Brawn & Brains Coffee (B&B) at their lovely Hamilton outlet, on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th, March 2024.

Expect a fun night of delicious casual dining featuring a platter of selections from my “East mix South Pacific” signatures. These include* Kokoda Fiji-style Ceviche, Momo Dumplings with Tomato Chutney & Sour Cream, Duck Liver & Shrimp Parcels with Tamarind Chutney, Lap Cheong Fan, Spicy Prawn Curry, Honey Soya Chicken with Salted Fish, Root Crop Leaves in Coconut, Steamed Cassava, and Pacific Purini Cake with homemade Tamarind Ice Cream. Diners will also get to sample my hot salted fish chilli Sambal Haam Yu, as seen on my ChannelNewsAsia Series In Search Of Heat.

Tickets to the popup event are $100 each, which includes food and one drink of your choice – wine, beer or B&B’s housemade kombucha. More drinks available at additional costs. This popup features a set platter menu with meat and seafood as protein, please ensure it caters to your diet before booking. Thank you!
